time to celebrate the final month of summer, can you think of a better way than this...? ... sitting in the shade, on the porch, eating chocolate ice cream.

It's hard to believe summer is almost over. We are really excited to move in to our new home this weekend and get settled before school starts on Aug.20th. It's been one of those warm days (can't really call it hot here when you're used to Austin summers) so we are heading to the indoor pool playscape at the local rec center. The kids have a blast going up the ladders and stairs under a spray waterfall and then whooshing down a little tube slide into the shallow pool. Violet admires their daring adventures from the very shallow end of the pool while she sits in her bumbo seat and splashes with glee.
