first wave!

Our little man is waving now! He's been on the verge for awhile :) He just looked at his daddy this afternoon and spontaneously waved his little arm, as if it was an everyday occurance, "hi daddy". As we cheered with encouragement, he kept repeating his new trick- even for the camera a few times, hence this photo. Seems to be learning something new every day now. Starting to say "mama", mostly when he is upset- so we aren't counting that yet! He hasn't repeated it when we say it. So we are not sure if we can count it as his first word, because it doesn't seem intentional yet.
