cherishing our little blessings

Landry at 18 months old...

eating broccoli! who would have thought?

running wildly around the house just for laughs

feeding himself yogurt with granola every morning

refusing to use a bib without a football or basketball printed on it somewhere

says, 'buht-ball' everytime he sees a football, player, helmet or anything at all related to sports

made up his own game of throwing whatever ball he has onto the countertop or tabletop with the goal of making it stay up there, even though he then doesn't know how to get it down so he can continue the game...

scared of the remote control truck that Nate recently pulled out of the closet for the kid's entertainment

wants to hold hands when we bless our meals together as a family

Bella at 3 1/2 years old...

still loves to 'read' her books, now she mostly tries to get Landry to sit beside her so she can read aloud to him...

most nights goes to bed in panties and wakes up dry! yeah!

writing her name, usually leaves out the 'e', and she writes anyone else's name I spell for her

loves to draw stick people. sometimes with hair, and extremely long one stick bodies

loves, loves, loves to ride her bike with training wheels on the rocky road...she even made it on the concrete sidewalk 3 blocks to the park in an adjoining neighborhood.

learning to make her own PB and honey sandwich

loves to climb trees as high as she can while we are outside playing

wanted to pray at dinner last night as we blessed our food, and she prayed and prayed and thanked God for everything/everyone she could think of... so very precious... eventually Landry decided it was just too long to wait and he started eating before she finished...

I can't believe Landry refuses to wear a bib without a sports ball on it. He is soooo his Daddy's little boy.

I can just see Bella praying & praying... then Landry finally deciding to eat....so very cute. Thanks for sharing!

So cute. It's hard to believe how fast they grow. I can't believe Bella is already writing her name. What a big girl! :o)
Thanks for sharing.

So adorable! I agree, Landry sounds like a spitting image of his daddy. Can't wait to see you guys soon!
