National Lampoon's Colorado Vacation

While we were in Ft.Collins for the weekend we took a day trip with Kim & B to a beautiful ranch up in the mountains.

i'm almost 4 months old... in 2 more days... and these are a few of my favorite things...


-hanging out on the floor watching toddlers and dogs go by

- bella talking to me sweet

-landry keeping a safe distance away

- anything I can find to put in my mouth

-smiling as big and wide as my mouth will allow

-playing and cooing with my feet in the air and my naked bottom set free when my mommy takes my wet diaper off (this is also my favorite time to have a good one on one conversation with mommy)

-going for a ride around the house in the umbrella stroller (usually steered by Landry)

-sitting in the bumbo on the kitchen counter watching B & L eat lunch

-lots of naptime, those tots wear me out

-my little ladybug excersaucer seat from Aunt Christy, it's got chewy toys attached that are perfect for my aching gums!

-listening to mom tell everyone what a good baby i am :)

-kicking the water in my bathtub

birthday girl on birthday morning... she got to open one present from mommy & daddy and eat whatever she wanted for breakfast (one scoop of ice cream and a big chocolate chip pancake)

we were all pretty tuckered from all the walking... hmmm... the idea was for some little people to actually ride in the wagon

a train and a trolley ride, all in one afternoon!

everyone took the trolley ride downtown (Old Town) for some ice cream and window shopping

Violet giving her big smiles on the swing... she is so expressive and babbling all the time. She will almost always give you a huge smile whenver you make eye contact with her.

There was a church picnic/potluck after service at City Park.
Bella and Landry loved this see-saw at the park. They couldn't get enough... it seats four so we all got on for a ride while Violet watched happily from her stroller.

Ft. Collins

We spent last weekend with Sarah's aunt & uncle and 2 cousins

in beautiful Ft.Collins.

The rapids were pretty fast and we saw several rafting groups and kayakers taking advantage of the snowmelt season.

quick update

I am hoping to have time to update more family news soon! Laundry, grocery shopping, prescription drug problem solving, dirty diapers, garage sales, etc, etc... have got me all tied up.

Our little fairy of a girl turns 4 today!

Wow... we are off to the Denver zoo to celebrate :)
