Help me find a Chore Chart! Please!

Asking all fellow mothers of toddler/preschoolers to help me find a good Chore Chart? Do you have one you recommend? What works for you?

We are beyond the point of needing one... especially for Little Miss, she is a good helper sometimes but most days she need some kind of motivation to get going!

It would be great to find one I can tweek to work for both the 2 and 4 year old?!

We appreciate any help, tips?!! thanks!

play days

Here's the now leafless tree Little Miss loves to climb in our backyard. The little girl in the tree with her is a neighborhood friend who often comes over with her sister to play.

One of Little Critter's favorite activities is to push this big dump truck all around the backyard and he thinks it's especially fun when he's chasing George.

Little Star is enjoying the show.

These last two were taken at a park where we met some friends to play on a crisp fall morning.

God has a red backpack

didn't you know?

Well, I am tucking little Miss into bed and as I am singing "Oh Lord you're beautiful..." to her (she always asks us to sing her a song before we say goodnight) she looks at me and asks,
"Mommy, what does God look like?"

I used my typical response when I'm not sure what to say...
"What do you think he looks like?"
and then I add, "I don't know because I have never seen Him before."

She promptly replies, "I have seen Him."

"Oh, really... what does he look like?"

"He was wearing yellow, yellow clothes and yellow shoes and a red hat and a red backpack. Inside His backpack were jewels, and cupcakes... and a cake, and kittens, and a dog... it was a big backpack. He was going to His God-friends party."

3 kids in a tub

well, okay... 2 kids in a tub and 1 in a duck...
little miss decided to learn how to use the camera
and took the rest of these "post-bathtime" shots

Here she is , our little star... pulling up on the library books crate...
she stands wherever she can all over the house!

Is it a bird, is it a plane...?

no... it's Superman!!!

came to the rescue to make sure all the candy in the neighborhood would not go unappreciated!

Here comes Tinkerbell too... they are joining forces to rid the neighborhood of all candy...

They actually sat still to smile for a few moments before setting off on their mission.

Some crazy old hobo came by, but they were unafraid and enlisted his help to pull the red wagon to add more speed as they set out to accomplish their mission
A pretty ballerina watches safely from the window. Since it was below 40 degrees outside,
she decides to pass on the candy hunt.

Accepting a blanket from the photographer, they are snug in their wagon and finally set off around the block...

About an hour later, their mission is almost complete and the smiles reveal their great success :)

According to the hobo, they did get out of their wagon to knock at each door and sometimes even preformed flying tricks to seduce the candy from various houses. All in all, it was a great triumph for the brave duo.

first snow

little critter wasn't quite sure what to make o f it all ? Hmmm... it's cold and a little wet, maybe I'll just go back in side and watch the snowflakes fall.

little miss, however, took one look and ran to get her pink sparkly snow boots she had been dying to wear so she could take full advantage of stomping on the fresh snowfall.

about 5 minutes later she was dressed (personal record) and ready to explore the winter wonderland our backyard had suddenly become overnight-- the day before it was 70 degrees!

our first of many snowmans to come visit us in our backyard this winter...

This all happened on Sunday Oct.21, while Nanna & Poppa happened to be visiting for the weekend. So we all bundled up and drove to baby K's house to enjoy the watching the first snowfall with family. It continued to snow pretty consistently all day until late afternoon. We made another snowman at K's house and then took the two older munchkins sledding at a nearby park later after lunch. Very fun!
